"The boy is friends with the fish; they play with colors [and hide], laughing in the ancient language of the world."
From the book's cover, we can feel the grandeur of nature and the connection the boy, "The Little Shaman," has with it. The term "shaman" can be translated as "one who sees in the dark" and is used to refer to someone who can access other dimensions, connect with animals, plants, minerals, and ancestral spirits, bringing magic and healing. The author invites us to share the boy's experience and the imagination that fills his mind. With a text that can be read as several small poems or a single narrative, it speaks of delicacy and strength, the everyday and the supernatural.
